Brookhaven Academy defeated Columbia 5-1 Thursday night to clinch the District 5AA championship. Playoffs begin next week. Great job, Cougars!

Austin Travis signed to play baseball with Mississippi Delta Community College. He earned a baseball scholarship as well as an academic scholarship. Pictured with Austin are his parents, (seated) Chris and June Travis and (standing) BA Coach Casey Edwards and MS Delta baseball coach. Austin is the third BA player to sign a baseball scholarship this year. |
